Seattle Bike Expo - California Bike Touring

We're off to the Seattle Bike Expo this weekend. If you plan to attend be sure to stop by our booth for a visit. Celia and I will be manning the booth this year. It's always a great event. We enjoy meeting so many folks excited about bicycle touring. Seattle definitely has an enthusiastic cycling population.

After the Expo a few of Wild Heart Cycling's finest will be heading to California for some warm weather touring. It's time to warm up our cold bones. Our plan at this point is to ride our California Explorer - Camping route. This tour has amazing views of the California Coast along with some spectacular views from ridge lines we ride along. For the first couple of nights we sleep among the redwoods then head to San Francisco for some great ethnic food. Check out our slide show of this route on our website. Our trip will follow the itinerary on California Explorer (Camping) itinerary page.

Looking forward to meeting you at the Expo.

Cheers, Ben

Nice blog posts! I will miss being at the Seattle Expo with you this year, as it has been fun, and we have always met lots of great people there in the past.

Glad you are heading to Nor Cal to do some riding.

I like the low energy tips on the website. I can't help but feel like I am having a negative impact with all of my recent flying around the world, but I guess I ofset that by my low impact lifestyle once I reach my destination.

I'm getting pretty strong on this trip, should be all toughened up for guide season, and I've been practicing my back country cooking skills as well.

What do you think about running some tours in Chile and Argentina sometime in the future? I'm first in line to offer support for that idea.

No bike, no skis, no car here. I miss my bike, miss my skis, and wish we had better bus service in the States.

Cream Puff? I signed up before I left. I'll be checking in on you after I post this comment.
