New Vermont Bicycle Tour

It's exciting times at Wild Heart Cycling. As we've done with developing our new California bicycle tours we've now developed a new Vermont bicycle tour. This new tour was a natural for us. Living in New England for a number of years gave us the intimate knowledge to develop this new route. This tour will be guided by myself along with a couple of locals who love to cycle. On the Vermont Explorer B&B Bicycle Tour we travel along the western slopes of the Green Mountains south to where we cross Lake Champlain via ferry. This small ferry is located at the base of Fort Ticonderoga. From here we travel north along the shore of Lake Champlain to the quaint hamlet of Essex. We spend an extra day here exploring this beautiful area. Down day options includes a day ride in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, kayaking on Lake Champlain, of just relaxing in the village. From here we ride north to Port Kent to catch a ferry back to Burlington. As a new tour we are only planning to offer this tour only August 18 - 24, 2008. Considering the route and the guides this new tour promises to be a lot of fun and very memorable.
